Miracles Abound: Remain Joyful in the Lord, We Have Power in Jesus Christ as His Disciples to Heal the World over Governments!

 

There broke out a severe persecution of the Church in Jerusalem,

and all were scattered

throughout the countryside of Judea and Samaria,

except the Apostles.

Devout men buried Stephen and made a loud lament over him.

Saul, meanwhile, was trying to destroy the Church;

entering house after house and dragging out men and women,

he handed them over for imprisonment.

Now those who had been scattered went about preaching the word.

Thus Philip went down to the city of Samaria

and proclaimed the Christ to them.

With one accord, the crowds paid attention to what was said by Philip

when they heard it and saw the signs he was doing.

For unclean spirits, crying out in a loud voice,

came out of many possessed people,

and many paralyzed and crippled people were cured.

There was great joy in that city.

~Acts 8:1b-8

What a Bible reading! We have the power from God through Jesus Christ to heal and cure. To be disciples to make a difference in this world. Recall, Jesus worked with Saul, to become Paul, one of the most powerful of His called to convert all and bring them to Christ. We as God's people have the power to perform miracles, to make a difference in this world, to heal, cure, and bring joy to this world in Christ! He is our Savior and ticket into Heaven so to spend eternity with Him! We need to believe and serve as His disciples in Christ! Work for Jesus, do His work, do not become a slave for Satan and of things of this world, Heaven is our home and we need to help convert and bring as many as we can to Christ! Pray for conversion to Jesus Christ. Remember that persecution helps to spread the message. Do it for Christ!
