But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.

We need to pray a lot for this country and world. We are living in trying times. We see so many who sin and who have become slaves for Satan, doing so much evil, wicked, and selfish greedy things. A lot from the elected, governments, and powers that be. They are some of the worst. It is sad to see all the pure evil we see today, how selfish and greedy so many have become. As if they can take it with them when they die. There is so little honor for most elected and powers that be, as so many cheat, steal, lie, and commit so much fraud. We have God on our side. He gave us Jesus as an example and model to follow and live by, that is who we need to follow, not humans, especially, all the bad ones. We know what is right when we follow God, His Commandments, the teachings of Jesus, and being people of goodwill. We all have a choice, we can be slaves and sin and not do what Jesus shared with us as His example or follow Jesus completely and be people of goodwill. 

The Mornings with God App today had a nice quote, Bible verse, write-up, and prayer about a lot of this today and how important prayer is. The App said, "Almighty God, our Father, another day has opened for us, and we would begin it with You. If we have a little talk with You, we shall be ready to go forth to our work. If we can look into Your face and have You look into our face — we shall not be afraid to go out to meet any danger. We thank You for the rest of the past night. Many have died since the sun went down — but we have been spared. Now we would give ourselves to You for this new day. We would make it a holy day, and we ask You for grace to do so. May Your word be a lamp to our feet, and a light to our path. May its teachings be in our hearts, and may we have grace to follow them. Order our steps according to Your word. Let no iniquity have dominion over us. Take not Your Holy Spirit from us. Restore to us the joy of Your salvation. Our trust is only in Jesus Christ. We are unworthy in ourselves, for we have sinned and our hearts are evil. But Jesus died for us, and in His name we come, asking for Your favor and blessing. We thank You for Your love, from which neither death nor life can separate us. May we abide in Your love, and may Your peace be upon us always. We ask a blessing for all with whom we associate in our common days. Make them all Your friends. Draw them all to Yourself. Help us so to walk before You, that our example shall impress them, and make them think of God and heavenly realities. May we speak Your words to those who are in sorrow or in sin — and may Your grace and peace pass through us to many. We put our hands now into Yours as we go out. Lead us, bless us, keep us, use us! We ask in Jesus' precious name. Amen."

The evil and the sinners will fight you to death, they do not like people of goodwill, their sin makes you their threat, so be ready for persecution and roadblocks, excuses, and more wickedness. May we receive the peace and grace God offers us. He just wants us to follow Him and do what is right. Like it says above, we need to "order our steps according to Your word. Let no iniquity have dominion over us." We need to live with the Holy Spirit and follow Jesus and pray pray pray!
