God Wants us to Follow the Example Jesus Gave Us, He Wants us to Reflect Jesus and Stop Sinning!

There is none righteous, no, not one.

- Romans 3:10

We are all sinners as humans! We need to stop sinning! We all need to start taking sin more seriously as a society and as people of God. We sweep it all under the rug, acting as if a little sin is fine. We legitimize killing babies, using drugs, abusing alcohol and all the vices that hurt us and the people around us and our society creating a narco state worldwide now. We just sin and sin, judging, hating, being aggressive toward others. We see our governments, elected, and powers that be abuse their powers, run up debts, be greedy, fraudulent, self-serving, and mediocre. We see so much crime today, killings, abuse, a lot of evil and wickedness all around us. It is sad, we need to pray, we need to stop sinning, we need to look to Jesus, follow and heed Him, reflect Him in all we do!

The Mornings With God App today had a nice reminder for all of us as humans, we need to stop sinning. We need to take sin more seriously! The App today said,  "A preacher writes that he was recently waited on by an officer of the church, of which he is a pastor, telling him that in these days of intelligence and liberal thinking, it is better that a man shall not preach about sin. This third chapter of Romans will be ruled out in that church and will not be considered suitable for reading in the pulpit. Nevertheless, the chapter is in the Bible, and it will not be obsolete for some time. If there had been no sin there would have been no need for the redemption of Christ. The background of the cross is the terrible fact of sin. “All have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God.” The word “sin” means missing the mark. The glory of God is yonder, on the shining mountain–top, and men are standing helpless at the foot of the mountain. They never can climb the steep cliffs. They fall short of the glory of God. If there were no other way, not one ever could reach glory. Sin leaves all men far off from hope."

Sin hurts all of us, it hurts us individually and as a society as a whole.  We are living in another Babylon of sin and chaos, the vanity, greed, and selfishness are so apparent. It is sad to see. We are all missing the mark! God wants better for us, He wants us to be more holy and upright. God wants us to follow the example Jesus gave us, He wants us to reflect Jesus and stop sinning!
