Headed Toward the Narrow Gate to Life with Jesus, It is Not Easy, Few Seem to Want to Go, I know I Do!

Jesus said to his disciples:

“Do not give what is holy to dogs, or throw your pearls before swine,

lest they trample them underfoot, and turn and tear you to pieces. “Do to others whatever you would have them do to you.

This is the Law and the Prophets. “Enter through the narrow gate;

for the gate is wide and the road broad that leads to destruction,

and those who enter through it are many.

How narrow the gate and constricted the road that leads to life.

And those who find it are few.”

~Matthew 7:6, 12-14

Today it seems like so many people do not care about their salvation. Many do not go to church, read the Bible, follow or reflect Jesus, and are people of goodwill. Many in society do not want you to talk about Jesus, God, religion, or the Bible. We see so many greedy and selfish people today, especially the ones in government, elected, so called-leaders, and powers that be. People today are not taking their salvation seriously at all, they sin and do so much evil, wickedness, and selfish ways. We see so much aggression today by so many, they do not act like or reflect Jesus at all. Jesus clearly says the gate is narrow, it is a very constricted road which leads to life. Remember that Jesus is the truth, the light, and the way, He gives life! He is our ticket to get into Heaven. We need to live with the Holy Spirit within, Jesus within, reflecting Him in all we do. Jesus offers some excellent advice here for His disciples, whom we are also called to be, will you take the challenge to follow Jesus? To heed His message? To reflect Him? Being a model or example like He was? It is not going to be easy, but if we want to go to Heaven, Jesus is the only way!
