Jesus Performs More Miracles, The Scribes, Authority Think this is Blasphemy!

 

After entering a boat, Jesus made the crossing, and came into his own town.

And there people brought to him a paralytic lying on a stretcher.

When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic,

"Courage, child, your sins are forgiven."

At that, some of the scribes said to themselves,

"This man is blaspheming."

Jesus knew what they were thinking, and said,

"Why do you harbor evil thoughts?

Which is easier, to say, 'Your sins are forgiven,'

or to say, 'Rise and walk'?

But that you may know that the Son of Man

has authority on earth to forgive sins"–

he then said to the paralytic,

"Rise, pick up your stretcher, and go home."

He rose and went home.

When the crowds saw this they were struck with awe

and glorified God who had given such authority to men.

~Matthew 9:1-8

Wow, Jesus is full of miracles! The Bible proves so many miracles He performs! He has power, we also have power through Him! Great power! Jesus is the son of God, God sent Jesus to us in human form, He is Emmanuel, God with us. God sent Him to us as our example, our model of how to live while on this Earth School. Through Jesus we were also given His Holy Spirit, it lives in us, He lives in us. We need to respect this from God, obey Him, follow the teachings of Jesus, be people of goodwill and not sin. Be holy and live upright and saintly lives, we have God within, the Holy Spirit, we have His power, we too can perform miracles like Jesus, remember that Peter, John, Paul, and Barnabas did! Today, the authority, the priests, the scribes of today, do not like us challenging them. Our governments today, the elected, and powers that be thank they are God, they want us to obey them, although they offer the worst example of how to be, by cheating, stealing, lying, being selfish, greedy, corrupt, committing fraud, and doing so many mediocre things. We need to instead follow Jesus, use His power to do good for humanity and let God use us to do His will, let His will be done. We have the power like Jesus to heal, the perform miracles when it is for good, we need to pray and in the name of Jesus do what He would do, while priests may be offended by you, know they were offended by Jesus too, do what is good, whole, right, and holy, we are called to live like Jesus, love like Jesus, reflect Jesus in all we do in life!
