Jesus Wants Us to Cure the Sick, Raise the Dead, Cleanse the Lepers, Drive out Demons! We are All Called! Called to Do it in Peace!

 

Jesus said to his Apostles:

“As you go, make this proclamation:

‘The Kingdom of heaven is at hand.’

Cure the sick, raise the dead,

cleanse the lepers, drive out demons.

Without cost you have received; without cost you are to give.

Do not take gold or silver or copper for your belts;

no sack for the journey, or a second tunic,

or sandals, or walking stick.

The laborer deserves his keep.

Whatever town or village you enter, look for a worthy person in it,

and stay there until you leave.

As you enter a house, wish it peace.

If the house is worthy,

let your peace come upon it;

if not, let your peace return to you.

Whoever will not receive you or listen to your words—

go outside that house or town and shake the dust from your feet.

Amen, I say to you, it will be more tolerable

for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of judgment

than for that town.”

I want to go to Heaven, it seems like most people would want to. We need to take sin seriously. We need to take God and Jesus seriously. We need to be people of goodwill! We need to obey God and His 10 Commandments, the teachings of Jesus, and be people of goodwill, doing good as we go about on this life journey here on this Earth School! We are all called to be disciples for Christ, to go out and pray, heal, cleanse, cure, pray and drive out demons in others. We are all called to do good for Christ! When we have Jesus, we have everything, when we follow Him, imitate Him, reflect Him, that is what God has called us to do. He gave us Jesus as a model, an example of how to live. He is God with us! Now we were given the Holy Spirit from Jesus after they had Him murdered, they were afraid of Him. Many in power are afraid of God, like they were with Jesus, they had Him killed, they hold many today as political prisoners, because they worship God, they follow Jesus, they are prolife, they make the people of goodwill into the bad people, when they are really the bad people, like the ones who wanted Jesus killed. Our governments, many are evil, corrupt, and will stop at nothing, it is sad to see, they need our prayers, but we were put here to serve the Lord, not them. We are called to be disciples for Christ. To do good, to heal, to love, to pray, to be peacemakers! We are called! The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!
