Knowing Christ Means Having Nothing to Do with a Sinful World!

 

If you profess to know Christ, have nothing to do with a sinful world. Shake off the viper into the fire, for it will poison you and destroy you!

I saw this quote above this morning and it resonated with me. It really seems true. We need to not let sin separate us from God. If we really want to know Jesus, that means we must not have anything to do with sin. Today so many people sin so much. We see it daily in society everywhere we go and see it a lot in the news, especially from our elected, government, and powers that be. They are the worst examples for the public and people as a whole. We see so much cheating, stealing, lying, committing fraud, being greedy, corrupt, selfish, and allow mediocrity to be their entire life. There is little integrity, principles, virtues, or morals from people today. It is all about getting a lot of money and being selfish and greedy. It is sad to see. The sin is so apparent, we see in the news daily about killings, murders, thefts, fraud, so many sins, so much evil and wickedness. It is sad to see, even we see today our media complicit with covering up a lot of sin, greed, and corruption, we need to pray for this. We need to have nothing to do with this sinful world. We cannot let the viper poison and destroy us like it has to so many today, so many have been humiliated, shamed, lost all honor, we just see so many who have become slaves for Satan, doing so much evil, abusing their power, and not thinking that God knows all of their sins and evil. If we really want to know Jesus, we need to stay away from sin, we need to follow His teachings, and reflect Him in all we do!
