We cannot forget we too are called to be disciples today to for Jesus, we are called to cure diseases too and proclaim God's Kingdom!

 

Jesus summoned the Twelve and gave them power and authority

over all demons and to cure diseases,

and he sent them to proclaim the Kingdom of God

and to heal the sick.

He said to them, "Take nothing for the journey,

neither walking stick, nor sack, nor food, nor money,

and let no one take a second tunic.

Whatever house you enter, stay there and leave from there.

And as for those who do not welcome you,

when you leave that town,

shake the dust from your feet in testimony against them."

Then they set out and went from village to village

proclaiming the Good News and curing diseases everywhere.

~Luke 9:1-6

Today we are called to be disciples for Christ, to spread His word to all. To follow Him, to reflect Him, to imitate Him and bring the promises He gave to all, we are called to cure, heal, and perform miracles too just like the twelve disciples of Jesus time were. Jesus was Jewish, He was the Messiah of the Jews, He can in human form, he was God, God with us, Emmanuel, God gave Him to us as our model, example, of how to live. We are all called to be His disciples, to spread the word of Jesus to all, to share what the Messiah promises, all we have to do is follow Him, and have faith. He knows we sin, He died for our sins, He wants us to repent, to follow Him, and to imitate and reflect Him! Be a blessing, spread His word, cure and heal, perform miracles like He did, in His name!
