Remain in Jesus!

 

Beloved:

Who is the liar?

Whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ.

Whoever denies the Father and the Son, this is the antichrist.

Anyone who denies the Son does not have the Father,

but whoever confesses the Son has the Father as well.

Let what you heard from the beginning remain in you.

If what you heard from the beginning remains in you,

then you will remain in the Son and in the Father.

And this is the promise that he made us: eternal life.

I write you these things about those who would deceive you.

As for you,

the anointing that you received from him remains in you,

so that you do not need anyone to teach you.

But his anointing teaches you about everything and is true and not false;

just as it taught you, remain in him.

And now, children, remain in him,

so that when he appears we may have confidence

and not be put to shame by him at his coming.

We are called to remain in Jesus!  This world is a scary place. The devil is lurking, Satan wants your soul, he uses all to work at getting it, even through others. We must remain in Jesus. Not be deceived by the liar, Satan, the devil who wants us to go with him, not Jesus! Prayer helps so much. Reading the Bible too, we are called to follow Jesus, when we follow, reflect, and imitate Jesus, then we are assured life eternal in Heaven with Him, God is also the power we need to deny and be released from any power Satan tries to take hold of you. Prayer helps too, I always say a lot of St. Michael the Archangel prayers and Hail Mary's. They help so much and give me so much peace! We need to remain in Jesus! Andy like it says above in John, the anointing that you received from him remains in you, so that you do not need anyone to teach you. But his anointing teaches you about everything and is true and not false; just as it taught you, remain in him. And now, children, remain in him, so that when he appears we may have confidence and not be put to shame by him at his coming. We need to remain in Jesus! It is the only way! He is the way, the truth, and the light for us to follow!
