God cannot be happy with all that is going on in the world today either! But He did give us His covenant!

When the LORD saw how great was man’s wickedness on earth,

and how no desire that his heart conceived

was ever anything but evil,

he regretted that he had made man on the earth,

and his heart was grieved.

So the LORD said:

“I will wipe out from the earth the men whom I have created,

and not only the men,

but also the beasts and the creeping things and the birds of the air,

for I am sorry that I made them.”

But Noah found favor with the LORD.

Then the LORD said to Noah:

“Go into the ark, you and all your household,

for you alone in this age have I found to be truly just.

Of every clean animal, take with you seven pairs,

a male and its mate;

and of the unclean animals, one pair,

a male and its mate;

likewise, of every clean bird of the air, seven pairs,

a male and a female,

and of all the unclean birds, one pair,

a male and a female.

Thus you will keep their issue alive over all the earth.

Seven days from now I will bring rain down on the earth

for forty days and forty nights,

and so I will wipe out from the surface of the earth

every moving creature that I have made.”

Noah did just as the LORD had commanded him.

As soon as the seven days were over,

the waters of the flood came upon the earth.

~Genesis 6:5-8; 7:1-5, 10

God cannot be happy with all that is going on in the world today either! But He did give us His covenant! What a blessing! It is sad to see all the evil, fraud, corruption, chaos, lawlessness, and sin today in our world. Everything seems upside down. We have police going after people for just silently praying, yet others can cheat, steal, lie, sell their country and soul for all the money in China and gold bars in Egypt and get away with it. It is sad to see. We live in a broken and dark world for sure. When we see people allowing their hate for someone justify all the evil they do and injustice. It is sad to see, the same people that cry about racism and discrimination, yet they are the ones who are racist and haters. All the abortions and killing babies, trying to justify it, this sin and murder. People care more about saving rescue dogs than babies in the womb, it is very sad to see. We see the elected and powers that be abuse their power and not be fiduciary in their accountability, they are greedy and self-serving, corrupted, and fraudulent using their power to cheat and make so much money, doing insider trading when they are forbidden to do it, using information from their political work to get rich, there is just something not right about all of this. They attack and come up with so many excuses for their hate, cancel culture, and divisiveness. It is sad to see, God must be mad at all of us too like He was when he saw all He did in Genesis above. He did give us Jesus, as a way to repent for our sins. He did give us a covenant now after Noah and the ark. We are called to change, to repent, to stop sinning, to be holy and upright, all of us, to follow Jesus, to imitate and reflect Him! We need to make our God proud by our actions and how we live. To be upright and holy, giving all glory to Him and thanks and praise. How many do today? How many have a messed up life because they life without God and are selfish and greedy? People are killing their brothers, mothers, fathers, sister-in-laws, doing so much evil. People abuse vices like drugs, alcohol, sex, gambling, etc. they make so many excuse for all of this. We all need to turn from our evil, from our wicked ways and sin and follow Jesus! He is are way to Heaven, our only ticket, He is the way, the truth and the life we must follow if we are going to save this wickedness of the Earth! We all need to be more like Noah, like Jesus!
