It is very clear in the Bible, especially in the New Testament that with the life and death of Jesus, the Messiah, Our Emmanuel, our God with us, that we no longer are subjected to all the old law of the Old Testament and Torah, with Jesus we are redeemed of our sins, He is our Salvation, our ticket and way to Heaven. We are not subjected to the old law, only that which Jesus told us, Thy will be done. We need to leave it all up to God through Jesus! Praying and following, imitating, and reflecting Him! Thy will be done is the key to a happy and successful life today. I love this song, while we all go through struggles and problems, sometimes the pain brings peace and makes us stronger, it may be hard, but with Jesus, we can get through anything. Life is all about turning to God, accepting His will be done. When I say my prayers in the morning, one is related to St. Anthony who was thought to hold the baby Jesus and have His ear to hear our prayers. I always say, guide me, instruct me, bring me where I need to be and always accept Your will be done in my life. I was telling an old friend who says she is Catholic and I hadn't talked to her in 20-30 years that we need to accept God's will be done in our lives, she seems to feel different. I think many today do, unfortunately, they let their egos get in the way, it is critical and a huge part of the New Testament, following Jesus and accepting the will of God be done in our lives, turn it all over to Him! He knows what is best for us, it is all about Thy will! Thank you for this song and message!
