It’s a sad thing when a society enjoys prosperity while character deteriorates!

 

Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots.

Today it seems like our moral character as humans and our society have declined greatly. Especially notable in the past 8+ years much of it due to hate unfortunately. The same liberal left haters and hypocrites who hate anything about making America great again will do anything to hurt the country with all the crime, illegal immigrants, their hypocrisy toward gays, race, Latinos, and African Americans. They use people and hate and division to break the moral character of our country, mostly due to their hate of our current president and people who want law and order and common sense fiscal responsible government operations. We can have all the wealth here, but we have no moral compass when we overlook corruption and push hate, just because they do not like a certain person. It is sad to see and our country, people, and government, they need our prayers. Martin Luther King Junior was right it is all about the content of your character, that is what matters! 

The Mornings With God App today said, "Solomon was incredibly wealthy. Everything in his kingdom was on a grand, magnificent scale, which made his reign impressive, but it also brought danger. It’s a sad thing when a society enjoys prosperity while character deteriorates. A poet once wrote:

“Ill fares the land, to hastening ills a prey, 

Where wealth accumulates and men decay.”

Solomon’s luxurious court, with its vast expenditures, led to heavy taxes, which eventually became burdensome and caused discontent. An old legend tells of a worm inside Solomon’s staff that secretly ate away at its strength. The meaning is clear: within Solomon’s prosperity, there lurked an insidious evil that eventually led to the ruin of his character and the disruption of his kingdom."

Today we have elected secretly eating away at its strength, or openly for that matter, with all the hate, hypocrisy, selfishness, greed, and corruption. What happened to Solomon is what is happening to the USA now too, we need to pray and work on our moral character. We need to stop the hate. We need to unite and come together and stop being haters and putting the country we live in last. Each country should put their country first. Each should also have elected who are upright and fiscally responsible. We need to stop all these slaves for Satan who are tearing our country apart, and care more about the whole of our  country, instead of being selfish, greedy, corrupt, and self-serving like we see so many elected to do today.  It’s a sad thing when a society enjoys prosperity while character deteriorates!
