Ponder nothing earthly minded, He will give to all the faithful His own self for heavenly food!

Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence sung by Keith & Kristyn Getty, JJ Heller on GodTube

Ponder nothing earthly minded, He will give to all the faithful His own self for heavenly food! I love this song and lyrics. It is one of my favorites that they play a lot in church around Christmas and Easter. Go to church, receive His food each day or week, communion with Jesus, His body and blood, His host and wine are for our Salvation in this life! This song is a reminder of Jesus coming into the world, His birth and His death, how He came to save the world from sin and to bring us to Heaven when we are faithful and follow Him! It says, Christ our God to earth descendeth, our full homage to demand. He wants our full homage, our full dedication to Him! Will you give yourself to God and follow Jesus? Reflect and imitate Him, to have faith, trust, and believe, to live as He did and obtain life eternal in Heaven with Jesus? This is our calling from God for all of us!  For all of humanity. We are called to repent, stop sinning, to stop hating, and to love all and follow Jesus! We are not supposed to ponder things of this Earth world, this is not our home, our home is in Heaven with Jesus, our faith and following Him can guarantee our passage to be with Him in Heaven! I just love this song and message! It is a prayer of hope! We need to follow Jesus! Alleluia, alleluia! Alleluia, Lord Most High! Follow Jesus! Live Heavenly minded! https://themiraclesofgod.blogspot.com/

Let all mortal flesh keep silence Lyrics

Let all mortal flesh keep silence,
and with fear and trembling stand;
ponder nothing earthly minded,
for with blessing in his hand
Christ our God to earth descendeth,
our full homage to demand.

King of kings, yet born of Mary,
as of old on earth he stood,
Lord of lords in human vesture,
in the Body and the Blood
he will give to all the faithful
his own self for heavenly food.

Rank on rank the host of heaven
spreads its vanguard on the way,
as the Light of Light descendeth
from the realms of endless day,
that the powers of hell may vanish
as the darkness clears away.

At his feet the six-winged seraph;
cherubim with sleepless eye,
veil their faces to the Presence,
as with ceaseless voice they cry,
"Alleluia, alleluia!
Alleluia, Lord Most High!"
