O Lord, grant us more of Yourself, the true light!

 

I saw this quote today on the Mornings with God App! I love it! I think it is a good reminder for us! I have always liked so many of the quotes by Charles Spurgeon.  We should ask God to grant us more of God's true light, that we ask for more of God's knowledge, joy, holiness and life! We all need that. Today too many people are way to consumed by things of this world, both materialistically and the worries this world brings. We need to turn to God! Ask for His wisdom and humble ourselves to His will be done, being servants, Disciples for Him to bring all to the Lord, the promises that Jesus brings when we follow, reflect, and imitate Him. He is the truth, the light, and the way, He gives us life and we are promised life eternal in Heaven when we follow Him! May we receive His spiritual light beams today!
