Mary and Jesus both did the will of God! Will you?

 

Mary and Jesus both did the will of God! Will you? Mary, Joseph, and Jesus all did the will of God. They were all presented with God's challenges, they accepted them, did the will of God to fulfill something so great for humanity. Bringing us Jesus, who did the will of God by dying for all our sins, He was innocent, He was God, Emmanuel, He came to save all of us from our sin and offer us life eternal in Heaven with Jesus. How often do you do the will of God? I pray each day for God to instruct me, to guide me, to lead me, and bring me to where I am supposed to be and always accept His will be done. I know He knows best over me. I try to humble myself to Him like Mary did, she told the angel she was the hand maiden and was willing to do God's will. Joseph did too, when he was willing to take Mary as his bride although she was with child and they were not married yet. Jesus had the great challenge of all, to sacrifice His life for our sins, to die an evil hateful death, although innocent, to die for our sins. God gave us Jesus as our model, our example of who to follow, to be our example, our model human, to follow, reflect, imitate, and love like Him. It too was afraid to offer himself, but told the Lord it is His will be done. Do you try to control everything? Do you force all? Do you try to do things without consulting God or living with a Jesus mindset? Do you think you are above God? That you know best over Him?  Will you surrender to God? Abandon yourself to His will be done? That is what God is asking us to do, even in His prayer, Our Father, He tells us His will be done! If Jesus, Mary, and Joseph could do the will of God, can't you?
