and to heal the sick.

He said to them, “Take nothing for the journey,

neither walking stick, nor sack, nor food, nor money,

and let no one take a second tunic.

Whatever house you enter, stay there and leave from there.

And as for those who do not welcome you,

when you leave that town,

shake the dust from your feet in testimony against them.”

Then they set out and went from village to village

proclaiming the good news and curing diseases everywhere.

He gave them power to heal, cure, remove demons, they were given the power to perform miracles! What a blessing! More miracles mentioned in the Bible. If Jesus gave the 12 to do this. He is given that power to us too! We already know from history that so many Saints over many years have performed miracles. It is all cited in the Catholic Church with many saints and what they have done. We are called to heal, to love, to perform miracles and remove demons. We are called to be disciples for Christ, all of us. Will you take up the cross and help? Will you follow the call of Jesus? Will you be a miracle worker too?
