A week of blessings and cooler weather! Trying to always live in the light! My jury duty was cancelled on Monday. I got to enjoy the beach all week. We had so much peace this week! The gym was great. Our food, beach, gym, thrift store outings were all so nice and a blessing! Today it was so cold in the morning, 57, I had to go to the stores first, then the beach a little later, it was cold today, but the water was warmer, like 76, so I did enjoy the water and stayed down in a lot. It has been quiet and peaceful. We are blessed! I even went for some walks and talked to my neighbor Lisa, she likes to walk barefoot all around, she calls it grounding, I have heard it is good for people to do. It is a blessing to be retired and know I had a blessed and wonderful career and so many students. I even heard from a former student this week which was nice. Too, I saw two passion fruits growing on the vines on our gazebo, what a blessing, I had never grown passion fruit before, but I love them, one of my favorite fruits from Colombia. My zucchini cranberry nut bread turned out so nice and we have been enjoying that. Today I received an invitation to apply for a department chair for a COE in Texas, it is nice, but I do not plan to work anymore. I am dedicated to my blog here, to be a disciple for Christ, go to church, and try to be a good person the best I can. Tomorrow we will go to mass for All Saints Day. I am blessed that my parents raised me Catholic, took me to church, and taught me who Jesus was and to follow Him. I am blessed and trying my best to live in the light always! God is so good to me!  Thank you Jesus, Heaven changes everything!
