Are you rejecting the one who sent Jesus?

 

Jesus said to them,

"Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida!

For if the mighty deeds done in your midst

had been done in Tyre and Sidon,

they would long ago have repented,

sitting in sackcloth and ashes.

But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon

at the judgment than for you.

And as for you, Capernaum, 'Will you be exalted to heaven?

You will go down to the netherworld.'

Whoever listens to you listens to me.

Whoever rejects you rejects me.

And whoever rejects me rejects the one who sent me."

~Luke 10:13-16

Are you rejecting the one who sent Jesus? We are reminded today in the Gospel reading of what Jesus spoke about. Are you following Jesus? Are you trying to reflect, forgive, imitate, and love like Him? Are you also being rejected like Jesus was? Many today do not like judgement. They do not like anyone criticizing them or questioning their sin or immorality. We have turned into a society of sinners, making so many excuses for doing evil, selfish, sinful things, like killing babies, abortion, or promoting lawlessness and sin, like abusing alcohol, drugs, sex, gambling, and many other vices. We are consumed by things of this world, forgetting about God, the Bible and Jesus, the truth! Most today do not want to know the truth. They cheat, steal, lie, commit fraud, and kill, making excuses for all of it and their greed. People do not want you to judge them for anything bad. People want you to be tolerant of everything, even a lot of sin and hate. But Jesus is love. And they do not want you talking about Jesus or the Bible, living upright and holy lives following Jesus. I am a firm believer that Christianity is the only true religion, all others are not full, they lack Jesus, and as we know from the Bible, Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, the only way to Heaven, we must follow Him! Any other so called religion, lacks Jesus, many are even satanic sects, putting others on a pedestal, not Jesus. Some religions make women submissive, or kill others, or have many wives, they worship pedophiles and try to force others to make it a requirement to be part of their religion only. People who follow Jesus, know the truth. He is the way. I will only follow Him! That is why I believe Christianity is the only true and correct religion, Jesus already proved He was the Messiah and is the Savior of the world. He is our King of the Universe. Anyway, rejecting Him, is rejecting His Father, God. We need to be careful who we are rejecting!
