Wow! So fitting for our times today! Our struggles are sure against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. We see it so clearly in all that is going on today. Evil all around us, and then we see how the legacy news I grew up on and much of the cable news is complicit with the evil deep state and corrupted powers that be that try to control all the government, agencies, and special interests. So much of our government is is evil, it seems to be getting better some with the new President and leadership, but there are still elements of it that enslave people and do so much corrupt, greedy, evil, and wicked things. Mostly the elected in the Senate and Congress, they are so self-serving, so corrupt, so greedy, not fiscally responsible, and mediocrity is their middle name. Almost all of them fall into things of this world, they leave Jesus for their $200K salary, all the perks, and other benefits, all leave office as millionaires and billionaires. They use insider trading to make a lot of money, which is illegal. It honestly today is hard to trust any elected, and at all levels. They just tax and tax, take and take, are so greedy and corrupt, do so little for the public and become a plague or parasite on the Republic. Most elected today become slaves for Satan, they forget they ran to represent the people and do the will of God, putting their hands on the Bible, but then never doing anything but get rich raping the taxpayers and putting our country into such horrible debt that we can never get out of. What ever happened to budgets and living and working within the money you planned with each year? What ever happened with being fiscally responsible, fiduciary? What a sin! Yes, this Bible verse is apropos for this age for sure. We see such evils from those who rule, authorities, powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Yes there is evil, we see and experience it from our news, government, and powers that be. They are not of God, just slaves for Satan and they want you too as their slaves. They tax and tax, take and take, use and abuse. All we can do is pray. Go to church. Trust in Jesus, follow and imitate Him the best we can and know our struggles of flesh, blood, and sin here have promise in Heaven with Jesus some day! We are not of this world! While it is heart breaking to see a broken world full of hate, violence, greed, corruption, fraud, and evil, we do not have to take part in it, we are promised by God a life eternal in Heaven with Jesus! Stay in Spirit and don't lose heart!
