Some profound words on wisdom from Wisdom!

 

In Wisdom is a spirit

intelligent, holy, unique,

Manifold, subtle, agile,

clear, unstained, certain,

Not baneful, loving the good, keen,

unhampered, beneficent, kindly,

Firm, secure, tranquil,

all-powerful, all-seeing,

And pervading all spirits,

though they be intelligent, pure and very subtle.

For Wisdom is mobile beyond all motion,

and she penetrates and pervades all things by reason of her purity.

For she is an aura of the might of God

and a pure effusion of the glory of the Almighty;

therefore nought that is sullied enters into her.

For she is the refulgence of eternal light,

the spotless mirror of the power of God,

the image of his goodness.

And she, who is one, can do all things,

and renews everything while herself perduring;

And passing into holy souls from age to age,

she produces friends of God and prophets.

For there is nought God loves, be it not one who dwells with Wisdom.

For she is fairer than the sun

and surpasses every constellation of the stars.

Compared to light, she takes precedence;

for that, indeed, night supplants,

but wickedness prevails not over Wisdom.

Indeed, she reaches from end to end mightily

and governs all things well.

Wow, some really profound words on wisdom in Wisdom!  I loved this mass reading from church today. It is a good reminder for all of us! The first part really nails it by what they said. In Wisdom is a spirit intelligent, holy, unique, Manifold, subtle, agile, clear, unstained, certain, Not baneful, loving the good, keen, unhampered, beneficent, kindly, Firm, secure, tranquil, all-powerful, all-seeing, And pervading all spirits, though they be intelligent, pure and very subtle. How so nice! I like that it says secure. I see so many people today that are insecure. This insecurity leads to envy, jealousy, and hate I have noticed. It is not healthy for humans when they are insecure. I worked with many people like this over the past many years. I never really noticed until the past 10-20 years but it made me realize that I did not like to be around insecure people. When they have to do things to draw attention to themselves, or due to their insecurity, they show hate, envy, and jealous toward others, insecurity hurts. Today we can see people  for who they are, if they are secure, they have wisdom. They are normally too, high IQ people. They have wisdom for sure. Are you certain? Are you kind? Are you unique? Holy? Do you have God in you? Living by the Spirit intelligence? This is so critical. We see a lot of people today full of hate, negativity, and living in misery. They have allowed hate to blind them and make them their own worst enemies. It is so sad to see. I see and worked with a lot of people who were from the liberal left, they like to act like they know best, they are superior, the elitist, they put others down or are quick to attack others, mostly out of hate. It is insecurity though pure and simple. Not healthy and not legitimate or logical at all. They do not have God in them nor know the Bible, know about true wisdom and what God says. That is what really matters! Are you secure with yourself? If you are, then you have wisdom!
