Do you have faith like a Centurion?

When Jesus entered Capernaum,

a centurion approached him and appealed to him, saying,

"Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, suffering dreadfully."

He said to him, "I will come and cure him."

The centurion said in reply,

"Lord, I am not worthy to have you enter under my roof;

only say the word and my servant will be healed.

For I too am a man subject to authority,

with soldiers subject to me.

And I say to one, 'Go,' and he goes;

and to another, 'Come here,' and he comes;

and to my slave, 'Do this,' and he does it."

When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him,

"Amen, I say to you, in no one in Israel have I found such faith.

I say to you, many will come from the east and the west,

and will recline with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob

at the banquet in the Kingdom of heaven."

Do you have faith like a Centurion? If you do, you can receive miracles from Jesus Himself! What a blessing! I love the faith and miracle shown in this Bible verse. Do you believe? While we may not worthy to have Jesus enter under our roof either, Jesus is willing to heal before hand. He loves us so much! He has so much mercy and compassion for us! He loves us and He cares. He wants to perform miracles in our lives too. He is just looking for our faith in Him! Do you have faith? Do you know Jesus? Do you talk to Him? Pray? Read the Bible? Go to church? Receive communion, His body and blood? I always say an Act of Contrition before communion and we go to confession regularly. I think that this Bible verse really shows how faith can bring miracles from Jesus! All it takes is great faith! And the Centurion is a Roman soldier, not even Jewish, a gentile. But Jesus saw his faith and used His power to perform a miracle for his servant from afar.  A real miracle from God! What a blessing! It is all about faith!
