The work of righteousness will be peace, And the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever.

~Isaiah 32:17

Isaiah 32:17 states that the work of righteousness will lead to peace, resulting in quietness and assurance forever.  What a blessing! This verse emphasizes the connection between living righteously and experiencing true peace in life as we live. Isaiah 32:17 emphasizes the relationship between righteousness and peace. It states that the outcome of living righteously is peace, which brings about a sense of quietness and assurance. Who doesn't want quietness and peace? This is a wonderful reminder for us as humans, we need to seek righteousness, we need to be upright, holy, and live sacred lives for God, God gave us Jesus as our model, our example of how to live. We are called to follow Him, to reflect, forgive, imitate, and love like Him! When we do with great faith, we are promised life eternal in Heaven! Wow! Who wouldn't want this guarantee? We need to work toward always being righteous the best we can as we go about on this Earth School journey! It will bring you great peace for sure!
