What the world needs now Is love sweet love!
One of the last, slowly murmured sayings of Whittier, was this: “Give—my—love—to—the—world.” And this is the world’s supreme need to-day; more than our eloquence, or our knowledge, or our wealth, or all else besides, it needs our love. True, even love may sometimes err; but the cure for love’s mistakes is just more love; we often blunder because we do not love enough. God help us all that, like Whittier, we may live and die, giving our love to the world.

What the world needs now Is love sweet love! This is so true, especially today in our broken world. It is so sad to see today, all the hate, division, and people so negative and not willing to love, look at someone, or speak to others. The Rabbi on the TV show this morning was talking about how when you go on an airplane today or the airport, it has changed a lot in the past five years, no one will talk to others, they are rude, in their own world, and just vain, selfish, have ego, or just cannot be bothered. It is so sad to see. Today when I was at the Habitat Store, Christine was playing the piano and playing this song. I have always loved it since I was a little kid, it was written two years after I was born. I remember it being played a lot as a child. I love it! We need love in this world today more than ever! It is so sad how our world has become so woke, full of hate, DEI, CRT, and ideology that has divided us with what some like to call social justice, woke ideology, or political correctness, but I think all seems to be more like hate and indifference more than anything else. I say, don't join any hate clubs! No one can talk today, have conversations, state their point of view, we are all judged, criticized, and people assume so much without even knowing. The indifference today is just so deafening. Our world needs a lot of prayers, and the love only Jesus can give, but following His model of love, forgiveness, and unity. God gave us Jesus as our model, our example of how to live, to be similar to Him. We are called to follow Jesus, to reflect, forgive, imitate, and love like Him! We are all one in Christ, in one in God in this universe who created all, all of us. Yes, what the world needs now is love sweet love! Thank you for this song and discipleship! https://themiraclesofgod.blogspot.com/
