Whoever says he is in the light, yet hates his brother, is still in the darkness!

Beloved:
The way we may be sure that we know Jesus
is to keep his commandments.
Whoever says, "I know him," but does not keep his commandments
is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
But whoever keeps his word,
the love of God is truly perfected in him.
This is the way we may know that we are in union with him:
whoever claims to abide in him ought to walk just as he walked.
Beloved, I am writing no new commandment to you
but an old commandment that you had from the beginning.
The old commandment is the word that you have heard.
And yet I do write a new commandment to you,
which holds true in him and among you,
for the darkness is passing away,
and the true light is already shining.
Whoever says he is in the light,
yet hates his brother, is still in the darkness.
Whoever loves his brother remains in the light,
and there is nothing in him to cause a fall.
Whoever hates his brother is in darkness;
he walks in darkness
and does not know where he is going
because the darkness has blinded his eyes.

~1 John 2:3-11

St. John reminds us that whoever says he is in the light, yet hates his brother, is still in the darkness. Today we see a lot of people who do not know where they are going! They are filled with so much hate. It is very sad to see for sure. I know I saw a lot of hate where I worked, so many with TDS, they hate and hate, can't stand the President or making America great again, and live in darkness and misery for sure. You see them so unhappy, many even want to go live in another country, they let their hate just cause almost derangement syndrome or make themselves mentally ill with this hate. How sad! Well, St. John reminds us here again about the 10 Commandments and a new law, to love all, live in the light. Many today who hate, also hate law and order. They do not like laws. They love bringing dogs to beaches or into stores. They speed, don't want to stop at stop signs, they think they know best are above all others. They even put saving rescue dogs as more important than saving babies in the womb. How so sad. They love to push so much abortion, hate, violence, and disorder. We need law and order, we need our laws, we need love, to love all, hate is darkness, it is evil and wicked, anyone hating is living in darkness and practicing evil. Are you in darkness? Do you hate? We make so many excuses for things that are wrong. Lawlessness and hate are wrong! Thank you St. John for reminding us of this!
