Miracles of Jesus: For ever I will sing the goodness of the Lord!

When Jesus returned to Capernaum after some days,
it became known that he was at home.
Many gathered together so that there was no longer room for them,
not even around the door,
and he preached the word to them.
They came bringing to him a paralytic carried by four men.
Unable to get near Jesus because of the crowd,
they opened up the roof above him.
After they had broken through,
they let down the mat on which the paralytic was lying.
When Jesus saw their faith, he said to him,
“Child, your sins are forgiven.”
Now some of the scribes were sitting there asking themselves,
“Why does this man speak that way?  He is blaspheming.
Who but God alone can forgive sins?”
Jesus immediately knew in his mind what
they were thinking to themselves,
so he said, “Why are you thinking such things in your hearts?
Which is easier, to say to the paralytic,
‘Your sins are forgiven,’
or to say, ‘Rise, pick up your mat and walk’?
But that you may know
that the Son of Man has authority to forgive sins on earth”
–he said to the paralytic,
“I say to you, rise, pick up your mat, and go home.”
He rose, picked up his mat at once,
and went away in the sight of everyone.
They were all astounded
and glorified God, saying, “We have never seen anything like this.”

Miracles of Jesus: For ever I will sing the goodness of the Lord! God is so good! He sent us Jesus! Jesus saves! He performs miracles, He heals, cures, cleanses, removes demons, gives sight to the blind, he even raised people from the dead of being sick. He cares and He performs miracles for His brothers and sisters. He loves us so much! You would think many would be in awe of the miracles of Jesus right? But so many priests and Pharisees start getting upset seeing Jesus performing all these miracles. It bothers them, they just do not understand that Jesus is God, He perform miracles. They are the ones ultimately that exercise their authority to have Jesus killed, they are afraid of His powers. Instead of embracing Jesus, some resent and hate Him. Even some do today. Do you? We need to follow Jesus! He is our God with us, our Emmanuel. We are called to follow His example, He is our model of how we should live. We are called to follow, reflect, forgive, imitate, and love like Jesus. Jesus is our miracle worker! He just calls us to turn from sin, repent, follow Him, and have great faith, when we do, we are promised life eternal in Heaven with Him! What a blessing! It is so nice to read about all His miracles! He can perform them today too, we too can be angels for others, praying too, and performing miracles too. When I was a child a neighbor friend had cancer. His mother was Catholic and went to our church, she called on all of us to pray for Brad, we did, and Brad overcame His cancer, He was cured, healed of cancer from all our prayers and the faith of many of us. Miracles can happen! Look at what happened to this man lifted up into a room where Jesus was through the ceiling, Jesus healed Him! Keep reading the Bible. Learn about all the miracles of Jesus, follow Him! Love like Him! Be like Him! You too can perform miracles! Pray, read the Bible, follow Jesus! Praise the Lord, He is so good to us!
