I love this new song! I heard it yesterday when driving to the beach. I love all songs that talk about Heaven our real Home! This one is very special. It reminds us that again this Earth School journey is not our home, it is just a journey we need to take, God gave it to us, we need to pass the test, He has us here for a reason, we have a purpose while here, it is to learn and transmit love while we are here. Are you transmitting love? Or do you have hate in your heart? Too, what I loved about the song as it reminds us about the loved ones who have gone before us, who are now in Heaven, their smell, their voice, expression, things they did or said, even a perfume they wore, when we smell it in Earth now, we are reminded of them. It makes us homesick for Heaven! Thank you so much for this song and your discipleship! I love your music! I love this song! I miss all my loved ones, I pray for them each day, I long to reunite with them in Heaven, yes, I am homesick for Heaven. I know this Earth School is not my Home, I have citizenship in Heaven with Jesus, I just need to keep following Him! I need to reflect, forgive, imitate, and love like Him while here to ensure my entrance into Heaven to be with all my loved ones and Jesus! Yes, I do have Heaven on my mind always!

Homesick For Heaven Lyrics
By Phil Wickham

My heart belongs to a country and a King
Of a land I've always known, but I've never seen
Some call it paradise or the land of the livin'
Well, I call it home, and I'm homesick for Heaven
I wanna walk with Moses on streets of gold
And dance with David before Your throne
To thank You face to face for the grace You've given
I wanna see my children run to Your arms
And worship the Savior who wears my scars
There's an ache in my heart, I'm homesick for Heaven
In my Father's house, there are many rooms
Enough for everyone, enough for you
I know it takes some faith, but today you can know without question
Believe in the power of Jesus' name, and you're goin' to Heaven, oh-oh
Hallelujah, in Jesus' name, we're goin' to Heaven
I wanna walk with Moses on streets of gold
And dance with David before Your throne
To thank You face to face for the grace You've given
I wanna see my children run to Your arms
And worship the Savior who wears my scars
There's an ache in my heart, I'm homesick for Heaven
No more fear, no more pain, every tear wiped away
Cryin' Holy, Holy
Every knee on the floor, every voice evermore
Cryin' Holy, Holy, yeah
Oh, I wanna go home
Oh, I wanna go home
To see the ones I love who've gone before
Where death is a memory and tears are no more
To hear the angels praise
Can you even imagine?
I'll run as fast as I can into Your arms
'Cause I was created to be where You are
There's an ache in my heart, I'm homesick for Heaven
There's an ache in my heart, I'm homesick for Heaven
There's an ache in my heart, I'm homesick for Heaven
