All work is sacred, and we need God’s help in every task, no matter how common it may seem!
Give therefore Thy servant an understanding heart to judge Thy people.
~1 Kings 3:9
All work is sacred, and we need God’s help in every task, no matter how common it may seem! It is so true! We need to do all with our hearts, doing what is right and holy. I liked that King Solomon wanted to rule wisely. That is admirable. I think our President we have now, wants to do the same thing. He loves this country and cares so much, works so hard, but so many slaves for Satan and evil constantly bash and block all he tries to do. God does seem to be on his side though. They make all about hate and racism, but they seem to be the biggest of all and such hypocrites. We just need to work hard, do what is right, and be upright and holy. I know I always did this when I was an educator for almost 40 years. I had a blessed career, while so many hated me, were jealous, envious, and insecure, many even mistreated me up to when I retired, but I never had any students problems ever and had so many publications and accomplishments, I was blessed, as I know God was on my side, when the haters and jealous did so many evil things. All we can do is pray for them all, do our best, and work hard, like President Trump is trying to do for our country now.
The Mornings With God today said, "Solomon wanted to rule wisely. He didn’t want to fail as a king, so he looked to God and said, “You have made me king. The task is great, and I am just a child. Give me wisdom to rule well.” It was a noble request. There is great responsibility in being a preacher, but there is also great responsibility in being a carpenter, shoemaker, or plumber. Hiram Golf, an old shoemaker, once told a young minister that his shoemaking was just as much a religious duty as the preacher’s sermon. “If I mend a boy’s shoes poorly, and he catches a cold and falls ill, I’ll be responsible,” he said. “As a child of God, with a hope of heaven, I cannot afford to put poor work into this job. I wouldn’t want to meet that boy in heaven and have him tell me he died because I wasn’t a faithful shoemaker.” All work is sacred, and we need God’s help in every task, no matter how common it may seem." I loved this message from the Mornings with God App. It is the best. I read it daily. It brings me so much peace and some days I like to share it here on this blog with you all. Get it and enjoy it daily like I do. It will help you to read the Bible, to pray, and to be a better person and have more peace in your life! Like the shoemaker and King Solomon, we all need to make sure all we do in life is upright, holy, and done with integrity. It matters. and we should live to do all for God, not for a job or other people, but knowing that how we live, work, and going about on this Earth School journey, we must doing it in a holy and sacred way, it matters and we need to do all with love, imitating Jesus, reflecting, forgiving, and modeling Jesus as our example in this life! God can help us, may we rely on Him for doing all in our lives with virtue and faith! We all need to remember that love always wins over hate!
