Live like Stephen anyway!

Stephen, filled with grace and power,

was working great wonders and signs among the people.
Certain members of the so-called Synagogue of Freedmen,
Cyreneans, and Alexandrians,
and people from Cilicia and Asia,
came forward and debated with Stephen,
but they could not withstand the wisdom and the Spirit with which he spoke.
Then they instigated some men to say,
"We have heard him speaking blasphemous words
against Moses and God."
They stirred up the people, the elders, and the scribes,
accosted him, seized him,
and brought him before the Sanhedrin.
They presented false witnesses who testified,
"This man never stops saying things against this holy place and the law.
For we have heard him claim
that this Jesus the Nazorean will destroy this place
and change the customs that Moses handed down to us."
All those who sat in the Sanhedrin looked intently at him
and saw that his face was like the face of an angel.

We need to live like Stephen anyway! He was a real angel! He had great faith! He trusted in the Lord and believed in Jesus! Do you know they end up killing Stephen? They stone him to death, all for his faith. He was a martyr. So so sad! He always did good. He always had grace. He had love in His heart. A good upright person who cared. They did not like He loved and followed Jesus. It is amazing how the priests and Sanhedrin are, the Pharisees, They are all so stuck on their law, but just do not have true faith. Look what they did to Jesus, had Him murdered. We all need to follow Jesus, love like Him! Be angels, stand up for our faith. Do good! I know I always try to do good to, but it is not always appreciated. I have volunteered for 25+ years at the senior center helping the seniors, showing love, most appreciated it, the workers there were the ones who used and abused me. I also help two shut-ins from my church, they appreciated it, I did it all with love, they were blessings and I am glad I could be a light and love to them in their old age. I often send emails, calls, texts, cards to many at the holidays, I sent some to people I knew, a few never write back, not for Christmas, the New Year, Easter, some can be so ungrateful. They have become woke, full of hate, negative, and push their cancel culture woke hate toward people they know, it is their MO to cancel you, if they do not agree with you. I have never joined any hate clubs. I know in my old job, there were a lot of them, I just never liked to be part of hate or gossip, some though really do, they push an agenda of gossip and bashing people, it is not for me, I have been on the end of the persecution from it, as I just won't be part of their negative talk, hate, and cancel culture. If they want to cancel me, then they can treat me like many treated and what they did to Stephen, or Jesus, and others. We need to take a stand for love. Show love. I write to a few people recently who say they are Christians and follow Jesus, but they just ignored by letter and message, ignored me, they cancel me, se la vi! I pray for them, try to love them, will keep trying to have an angel face anyway, and like St. Mother Teresa always used to say, do it anyway, love them anyway! Just so many wonders and miracles of Stephen! Blessed are they who follow the law of the Lord!
