I love this prayer! I say it so many times each day! Back in the 1970's this prayer was made famous by a nun. The Lord's Prayer By Sister Janet Mead was turned into a Top 40 hit on the radio in 1973. I believe she was a nun from Australia. It was very famous on the radio, we loved it as kids, as we learned it in church and in religion classes too. The prayer is wonderful, likely the most important part of the prayer is: "thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven." The prayer talks about our God feeding us, forgiving, and keeping us from temptation and all evil! What a blessing! God gave us Jesus, we are called to follow, reflect, forgive, imitate, and love like Him! When we do with great faith, turning from all sin, we are promised life eternal in Heaven with Jesus!
