The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned!
The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.
—1 Corinthians 2:14
Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God.
—John 3:20-21
I saw these two Bible verses recently on the Website: https://www.bible.com/verse-of-the-day They really both resonated with me so much! I notice in our current world and society so many seem so godless today. without the Holy Spirit, they are living in darkness. There are so many godless people today, even godless countries, states, and peoples. Today we see so many who make bad good and good bad. An example is the liberal left push so much abortion, killing babies, yet are so concerned with saving rescue dogs, they care more about dogs than human beings, babies, they say they are about science, yet cannot say when I baby is formed in the womb, at conception a life is being formed. It is not just a clump of cells, it is a baby, a human being, it is science. Today we see a lot of haters, some have TDS, others take the side of evil doings, they make so many excuses for sin, hate, and lawlessness. It is sad to see, and we need to pray for all the godless. Many are without Spirit, they are not accepting things that come from God, like it says in the Bible verse in 1 Corinthians 2:14 above. We see a lot of foolishness today. Low IQ as some say. They allow hate to blind them, they ignore the devil and the lurking's of Satan, there are many people today who are spiritually discerned. Today people prefer to be high on pot, instead of on Jesus, we see that at our gym a lot, so many reek of marijuana, they come to the gym high, but do not know what they are doing, they are a mess for sure. It shows and you feel it when you are out and about whether at the gym, a store, the beach, driving your car, so many are godless and in the dark. People and our world need our prayers, they are godless, living in darkness, although they do not want our prayers and help, we need to pray for all the evils of this world, for those who are godless, living in darkness who make so many excuses for sin, hate, lawlessness, and evil! Please pray for the godless who are spiritually discerned!

This is a great post and so true there are so many who are spiritually discerned today in our society and world full of so much hate, negativity, vengeance, so much sin, and living in misery is just not healthy for our society at all. Too many living in the dark. Jesus gives us light!
