I love this song! My father used to sing it a lot too! Today I heard it twice when watching TV, it was on an episode of Little House on The Prairie and then right after on a news show playing Christmas songs!  It sounds like it is really a Christmas song! I think it is song a lot and it sounds wonderful when kids sing it I think! I heard a version with Dolly Parton too that I liked as well, as I really love Dolly. She is a wonderful Christian who always stands up for Christ, a real disciple in her years on Earth, bless her heart! One thing we all need to remember is God made us in His image. He then came in our image to Earth to be our savior of this world. All we need to do is turn all over to Him. He is the only one to trust and put all your faith in. I say trust in the Lord, not human beings who will hurt, deceive, and always disappoint you. Trust in God now and forever. With so much that is going on today with the fear pandemic and all, with scientist creating gene therapy vaccines that change the DNA and genetic structure of us as humans from how God made us, then even using aborted fetus to make all these vaccines, it all sounds alarming. A guy on Tru News today said be careful with all of this, it is not part of God, it is from man, why would man want to change our DNA and genetic structure? My spouse thinks it is because humans in control want to control us and not allow God to be part of us, to rid us of religion and our souls even. How sad! Anyway, all we can do today is find refuge in God. Put all our trust in Him. Be free thinkers, not fall into the traps and evil of man today, as we see so much of it daily. It is hard to understand the logic and misinformation and lies. We need to put our trust in God. Go, tell it on the mountain over the hills and everywhere, go tell it on the mountain that Jesus Christ was born and God is the only one in control and who matters! St. Michael the Archangel, pray for us and protect us! God is our only miracle and blessing to keep us safe and sane in these uncertain and distrusting times. Jesus is born to trust, Jesus I trust in You!  Only put God on a pedestal, He made you, don't let others change your DNA that he created you for a reason!
