This Bible Verse by Peter Sums Up A lot for Us About How to Live and Love!

Beloved:
May grace and peace be yours in abundance
through knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.
His divine power has bestowed on us
everything that makes for life and devotion,
through the knowledge of him
who called us by his own glory and power.
Through these, he has bestowed on us
the precious and very great promises,
so that through them you may come to share in the divine nature,
after escaping from the corruption that is in the world
because of evil desire.
For this very reason,
make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue,
virtue with knowledge, knowledge with self-control,
self-control with endurance, endurance with devotion,
devotion with mutual affection, mutual affection with love.

~2 Peter1:2-7

There is a lot of corruption in this world today! Like this verse says, it is hard to escape it. Each day we see on the news the greed, corruption, and selfishness of so many people, mostly from our elected, governments, and powers that be who abuse powers and do so much wicked, they have so many evil desires, look at all the political persecution today, the corruption at all levels from our own governments, elected, and powers that be. All the greedy and self-serving ways. It is sad to see all the setups that happened today, doing so many evil and mean things to people, how sad. We need to pray for our country and world, our elected, governments, and powers that be. Each day seems to get worse, not another surprise of bad behavior by some. Even neighbors, throwing their garbage on other neighbors property without a right to do so. Or the aggressive drivers trying to run you off the road. So many today do not abide by our laws and rules, they are selfish and inconsiderate. It is sad to see. This Bible verse speaks to all of it, but tells us to "make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, virtue with knowledge, knowledge with self-control, self-control with endurance, endurance with devotion, devotion with mutual affection, mutual affection with love." That is all we can do, it pray, love, find joy in Christ, and know He will come back to make it all right again, when the wayward of this world just do not care and hurt others. We need to keep the faith!
