I have always loved this song! I have always thought when I leave this Earth School journey, I would like this song played at my funeral. It is how I feel, this is not our home here on Earth, we are just on a journey here, an Earth School of sorts to learn, to learn to love like Jesus, God gave Him to us, our Emmanuel, our God with us, as an example, our model of how to live as we go about this journey. We are really Citizens of Heaven, Heaven is our real Home! We are going there when we leave here if we have lived our lives upright and holy the best we can like Christ, following, imitating, and reflecting Him! There is a better place waiting for us, while there is a lot of suffering and pain here, this is not our home! Our tears, sorrows, and sins will all be wiped away, Jesus died for us and our sins to give us life eternal with Him in Heaven! What a blessing from God! When God wants me, I want to go Home to Him in Heaven. This world is sad sometimes, we see so much grief, hate, negativity, corruption, greed, selfishness, and pride, it is all so sad to see. So many are so consumed by things of this world, not even thinking about home, where we will be with Jesus when we leave this Earth journey. God wants us to live our best lives here, loving all, abiding by His Commandments, following Jesus, imitating and reflecting Him! We are promised life eternal when we follow Him! I run to Jesus, no turning back, I will be free at least! I am going to be as joyful as I can be here while I go about this journey, but I want to go Home to Heaven! I want to go Home! I'm going home! Thank you for this song and message! I love your song and discipleship, I love the Christian radio stations, like Christian FM, KLove, and WayFM and all this music!
