The Ten Commandments: To honor God and others/our neighbors!

 

God gave us the Ten Commandments for us to honor both God and others/our neighbors! They are our guide on how to live on this Earth School journey! How many humans follow the 10 Commandments today? Even so much in society is removing them, the sin part bothers people. Today no one wants to honor God, go to church, read the Bible, or hear about Jesus, they do not keep the Sabbath holy. We are called to, that is what God wants. But do people care anymore today? The 10 Commandments have two parts to them, the first four are for honoring God. The last 6 are for how we honor ourselves and our neighbors. Our society does not function well at all when people ignore and disobey the last six commandments. Do you honor your parents? We are not supposed to murder, commit adultery, steal, lie, or covet things and people who are not ours. Today we see a lot of abuse of these last six commandments, especially from our elected and powers that be. Many people cheat, steal, lie, covet, there is so much infidelity, fornication and sin, we kill unborn babies, acting like it is a right of passage to do so, all from sin. Today people want to make everything acceptable, anything goes mentality, so many do not want you to talk about church, laws, rules, the Bible, God, Jesus, the 10 Commandments, they just want to make all sin acceptable and normal, like it is fine to murder unborn babies, steal from others, lie, and kill. This is the big problem we have today in our society. No one wants law and order or to follow something simple like the 10 Commandments that God gave us as a society to follow, we are His people, but we forget this. We turn all into science and move farther away from God. Yes, humans disappoint, but God never will. I need to remember this daily, I always have high expectations of people, but they always let me down. But God doesn't. He is always there for me. He is Who I want to honor! It starts with each one of us! We are called to be upright and holy!
